Vidrios Laminated glass is a type of safety glass made by permanently bonding two or more layers of glass together with a tough, resilient plastic interlayer—typically PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral), SGP (SentryGlas Plus), or EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate).
The assembly is subjected to heat and pressure in an autoclave, fusing the layers into a single, unified sheet that looks like regular glass from the outside but behaves very differently when impacted.

Safety performance
Upon breakage, glass fragments adhere to the plastic interlayer, preventing sharp shards from scattering and cutting people. This is its core safety advantage.
Sound insulation
The polymer interlayer effectively blocks noise transmission, widely used for noise reduction windows, curtain walls.
UV blocking
PVB interlayer can filter over 99% of ultraviolet rays, protecting interior furniture, fabrics and artworks from fading.
Anti-penetration
Hard to be fully pierced; suitable for places requiring anti-theft, hurricane-resistant, blast-resistant performance by adjusting glass thickness and interlayer type.
Retain transparency
Clear laminated glass maintains good light transmission while keeping safety properties.
PVB → Best for buildings requiring safety + acoustic performance, e.g., residential windows, commercial façades, glass doors, balconies.
EVA → Best for indoor decoration, humid environments, CNC-art glass, switchable glass, shower areas.
SGP → Best for high-strength structural applications, such as curtain walls, skylights, glass floors, staircases, hurricane-resistant windows.
